Dragon Ball is returning to your home consoles in 2015, and one of the coolest announcements yet is that YOU will be the newest fighter to join the roster!

Dragon Ball Xenoverse promises a wide variety character customization features, including physical features from the various Dragon Ball races (Earthling, Majin, and Namekian – with more to come). Customization doesn’t stop at appearance, as the game’s time travelling hero you will have to choose your Dragon Ball character’s fighting style and abilities by training under a ‘Master’.

Each Master will have different skillsets and patterns depending on who the player chooses (Goku, Vegeta, etc.) Your chosen Master will also be able to join you in the battlefield should you need assistance.

Xenoverse is filled with time travel themes, so who better to be your guide than Trunks? Trunks will show you around Toki Toki City, the primary hub in the game, and introduce you to places like the “Toki Storage Room” – a place where players can meet other players, train with their master, or take part in story mode and co-op quests. These quest modes will feature some massive enemies including Great Age Vegeta!

If you’re familiar with the Dragon Ball universe then you know all about the world tournament. Bandai Namco Entertainment have said that the tournament will be a major feature of the upcoming title, where fighters from all around the world will be able to compete in tournaments organized by Bandai Namco Entertainment.

For the first time in Far Cry – or even videogaming for that matter – the exotic local of Nepal, specifically the Himalayan mountains, will be the backdrop in Far Cry 4. Introducing Ajay Ghale as the first ever Nepalese protagonist, the open world nature of Far Cry now sees new horizons.

Fans of the Far Cry series will be pleased to know that the developers have every intent in making 4 a new experience, especially when compared to 3. Where as in Far Cry 3, character freedom compromised time sensitive situations ending in loss of immersion, Far Cry 4 now promises a tighter balance between exploration and mandatory story based events. As well, to add to this, there is less protagonist voice overs; there is also an addition of dark humor bringing an new factor of enjoyment.

While the sound standard gun combat with many weaponsare still there, one of the more exciting features is the weaponziation of local animals. Ride and elephant into the fray and overthrow foes in their vehicles!

All the previous mechanics return as well, from stealth to hang gliding to exploring hidden secrets and mysterious areas. If all this sound interesting, the icing on the cake is the co-op mulitplayer, made even sweeter by letting a friend play online even if they don’t hav a copy themselves!

Description / About This Game :
Spike Chunsoft are releasing a pair of samurai games for both the PS3 and PSVita in February, each with their own story. Here’s the kicker: the First Print bonus for both versions will include a discount code for the alternative version, as well as the “Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki” sword for PS3 and the “Kaga Kiyomitsu” sword for PSV.

Both versions of the game take place during the Bakamatsu, a period of uprising in Japanese history that marked the final years of the Tokugawa shogunate. The PS3 and PSV versions will each tell a very different story from the two opposing perspectives of the conflict.

The ukiyo-e art style is highly associated with this period of Japanese history, so much in fact that Spike Chunsoft have dedicated the “Ukiyo Engine” to allowing players to transform their surroundings to look like that of a ukiyo-e painting.

In Ukiyo no Shishi, the PS3 title, the story revolves around the ‘Ishin Shishi’, a group dedicated to the anti-shogunate side of the conflict who favored the return of the Japanese imperial house to power. At the heart of the story lies the historical figure Sakamoto Ryoma who has lost his memory in the game and sets off to regain his identity one step at a time with the help of other historically-inspired characters.

Meanwhile Ukiyo no Roushi, for PSVita, switches focus to Okita Yoshijiro, a young man who is following in the footsteps of his uncle Okita Souji in joining the Shinsengumi, one of the groups who readily oppose the Ishin Shishi. Assigned as an inspector under the famous Saito Hajime Okita Yoshijiro must ensure the safety of Kyoto by solving mysteries and revealing culprits. But as the conflict grows Okita will find himself thrown headlong into chaos filled with great menaces and Japanese historical figures.

The combat and gameplay mechanics in both games are the same, with both being largely dependent on the types of weapon being used. 8 weapon classes are currently confirmed to be in the title: Uchigatana, One-handed sword, Odachi (great sword), Ninja sword, Dual swords, Spear, Bare hands, and Gun. Each class of weapon will have a set of unique techniques to use during combat and the experience points earned during your fights can be used to unlock even more abilities.

Save data for both the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita games will be shareable between the two titles including exclusive items, weapons, and costumes.

Welcome to 1980′s Japan, the setting for Sega’s upcoming Yakuza prequel!

The economic bubble of the mid to late 80′s will be playing a central role in both the plot and gameplay of Yakuza 0. Money has always been a key factor in the Yakuza series and will hold even more power in Yakuza 0, especially with the setting and increased focus on business management mechanics (according to the panel at TGS).

Money will also maintain the purchasing power for your character’s stats and skills upgrades. One of the key money-making mechanics has gone through a big change: money will now start flying out of your opponents as you beat them up, rather than having to wait until the end of the fight to collect it.

The story will follow 20 year-old Kiryu, who will be competing in Kamurocho’s real-estate market, against the financial power of five billionaires, in an effort to exert influence over the district. As evidenced by gameplay footage, simulation aspects will be central to the business gameplay – allowing Kiryu to systematically gain control over the area.

At the same time 24 year-old Majima will be running a hostess club, a concept that will be familiar to fans of Yakuza 4 as the mechanics will remain very similar. Players will have the ability to customize their club’s appearance as well as hire girls off the street. Players will be able to assume the roles of both Kiryu and Majima.

The game also includes over 100 sidequests which are said to play a critical role in your overall playthrough. The quests will provide you with another source of money as well as recruit bodies for your crime empire!

Description / About This Game :
Bandai Namco began streaming the promotional video for Sword Art Online -Lost Song-, the third major game in the franchise. Slated for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in 2015, this action role-playing game will tell an original story set in the fictional ALfheim Online game. ALfheim Online appears in the second arc of the Sword Art Online light novel series.

As in Reki Kawahara’s original light novel series, you can fly in the game. More details will be in Vol. 576 of Dengeki PlayStation magazine on October 16.

Bandai Namco first announced the game’s development at the 2014 Tokyo Game Show stage event on September 19. Reki Kawahara’s Sword Art Online light novel series already inspired the Sword Art Online -Infinity Moment- and Sword Art Online -Hollow Fragment- games for the PlayStation Vita system. The light novels also inspired two television anime series.
